If your poster isn't selected, and you no longer wish to attend the workshop, your registration fee (or registration deposit, depending whether or not you select the payment plan of 10% down) will be refunded to you on request, provided you withdraw no later than October 1st. Email us if you have questions.

The poster should be 36 x 48 inches. You can have your poster oriented in landscape or portrait, at your discretion.

Please remember to take your poster with you at the conclusion of the event. Any posters remaining will be discarded at the conclusion of the event.

Tips and tricks:

  • If you are using Powerpoint, for example, you change the dimensions by clicking Design tab, then Slide Size, and choose 36 x 48. When you Save as PDF, the PDF size will be the same.
  • If you are using Google Slides, click File, Page Setup.
  • Check the resolution of the images on your poster before submitting. Open it in Adobe and set Zoom to 100%, and make sure it isn’t blurry. If the images look fuzzy, try saving the original images in a higher resolution. Depending on how you are making the PDF of the poster, you could try saving your images in some sort of vector graphics format (e.g. .pdf, .eps).
  • When you have the option, avoid using huge blocks of text on black background, or very dark visualizations.
