Need to get from your hotel to Kline Tower? You can walk (it's about 1 mile to hotels, and 1.6 miles to the train station) or you can take the free Yale Shuttle. If they ask for your Yale ID, tell the driver you're attending a conference. We have informed the shuttle office. We recommend the Blue Line, the Red Line, or the Orange Line. Kline Tower is the tallest building on Science Hill, and easy to identify. See picture below. For a live map of where the shuttle is, please visit: Yale Transit Shuttle Routes

In 2023 a freshly renovated and reimagined Kline Tower (KT) was unveiled at Yale University on Science Hill as the new home of the Yale Institute for Foundations of Data Science, and the Departments of Statistics and Data Science, Mathematics, and Astronomy. Our location matches our vision: to convene faculty from departments and schools across the university, united by shared research interests. The 16-story building, which is the tallest on the Yale campus, features open-concept programming space — including a state-of-the-art conference center on the top floor, with panoramic views of Yale, greater New Haven, and the Long Island Sound. KT’s event and meeting spaces enable faculty and students across departments — as well as visiting scholars from around the world — to gather, collaborate, and spark interdisciplinary discoveries and scholarship. We will convene this conference at the top of KT.
Yale University is committed to providing support and resources for working parents and caregivers and recognizes that the need for care may make conference participation challenging. Participants who wish to attend the conference can find childcare or eldercare support via Bright Horizons Care Advantage®. In-home care may be scheduled anywhere in the United States (https://my.brighthorizons.com/home).
We believe FDS is the happiest place on earth. We are dedicated to inclusion, equity, diversity, truth, and scholarship.
We strive to provide full accessibility to all Yale community members and visitors with disabilities. Guests or visitors seeking an accommodation to participate in this conference are encouraged to contact the event planner at least five days prior to arrival or participation.
