Description
The core of Community Notes is to identify content that is liked by people who normally disagree, effectively bridging between groups with differing views. This talk presents two developing products for increasing bridging at scale. First, we examine early successes and challenges of the newly introduced API for AI note writing, including an AI bot that achieved 57 Helpful notes over its first 8 days of writing - more than 4x the most productive human in that time. Then, we outline an upcoming product currently in limited availability for identifying posts (not notes) on X liked by users who normally disagree. Since both products are in early stages, each discussion focuses on initial results, unsolved problems and research directions with these young and growing products.
