Arman Cohan is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Yale University and also holds the position of Research Scientist at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2). His research expertise lies at the crossroads of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning, encompassing a wide spectrum of challenges.

Arman's research interests include language modeling, representation learning, retrieval, and the application of these techniques in specialized domains. His ongoing work encompasses several active research areas:

Expanding Large Language Models' capabilities to novel domains and tasks.
Advancing language modeling and representation learning for document-level tasks and handling long sequences.
Tackling multi-document and extreme multi-document language processing.
