Mohammad Hossein BATENI is a senior staff research scientist at Google Research, where he leads a team focused on the interplay of machine learning and combinatorial and graph-based optimization. Before joining Google in 2011, he obtained Master's and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Princeton University, working on approximation algorithms for network design. His current research interests are in large-scale graph algorithms and ML efficiency.
