Ruiqi Zhang is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistics at the University of California, Berkeley, advised by Prof. Peter L. Bartlett. His research primarily focuses on Theoretical Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, as well as their practical applications. He has recently been exploring the theory of Transformers, In-Context Learning, and Large Language Models. Before starting his Ph.D., Ruiqi earned his bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Peking University.
