Ankit Singh Rawat is a Research Scientist at Google Research, New York City. Previously, he has held postdoctoral appointments at the Research Laboratory of Electronics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the College of Information and Computer Sciences, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and the Computer Science Department, Carnegie Mellon University. He obtained the B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from the IIT Kanpur, Kanpur, India, in 2010, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. Ankit's research interests span a wide spectrum, encompassing Large Scale Machine Learning, Coding Theory, and Information Theory. He is a recipient of the 2020 EURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing Best Paper Award.
