Uri Alon ( https://urialon.ml ) is a Senior Research Scientist at the Reasoning Team at Google DeepMind.
Before that, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Language Technologies Institute (LTI) at Carnegie Mellon University, working with Prof. Graham Neubig, and he obtained his Ph.D. from the Technion, advised by Prof. Eran Yahav.
His interests span a variety of topics including LLM reasoning, long-range LMs, and retrieval-based LMs.
Uri is a recipient of the 2021 Rothschild Postdoctoral Fellowship, was selected as a 2021 Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow, and his Ph.D. Dissertation on language models of code was awarded the 2022 ACM SIGPLAN Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award.
